As the number of members attending duplicate increases, we expect to meet your requests for graded duplicate sessions by requesting our Directors to provide up to 3 graded duplicate sessions, when possible.

In order to provide a pleasant experience, the Director needs to be able to arrange the sections so they provide the best bridge experience for everyone.  This means:

• The grade of the sections will change from day-to-day, based on the masterpoint profile of the members attending the session
• Section sizes are ideally of a similar size or can be isolated to the back room so that the movement of one section does not impact the play of the nearby sections. 
• Sit-outs are avoided wherever possible
• Sections are sized to provide members the opportunity to play the majority of opposition players.

To enable our directors to achieve this, we require the assistance of members who live within 5-7 minutes of the Club, to act as a Standby player.  You will be asked to fill in when there are not enough players or expected players fail to attend.  Where possible we will try to match your experience level to the grade requiring a stand-by.
