Paul Hill’s Improver Lesson – ABC’s

This seminar is aimed at the improving player. It covers the Assess, Browse the options, and Consider the order (ABC) technique of declarer play invented by Canadian author Audrey Grant. Many improving players have difficulty in spotting multiple options in hands, and as a result fail in their contract because they choose the wrong order of play. We will briefly cover the basic principes and then play hands that are a representation of the technique. The practice hands are not difficult, but will have multiple options that require developing an optimal order of play before you call for dummy’s first card
