Thank You

Congratulations to all Waverley members who placed across the weekend, and thank you to everyone who came out to play over the three days. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces returning and to welcome new players experiencing our Congress for the first time.

A special thank you goes to all our volunteers, whose efforts both before and during the event made the weekend possible. From those who spent hours dealing with the many sets of boards, to our kitchen and bar staff who prepared and served meals throughout the weekend, the players who came in on the day to be standbys to fill in the gaps, and the team who kept everything running smoothly and clean between sessions — your hard work did not go unnoticed.

Events of this scale rely heavily on the commitment and generosity of our members, and the success of this year’s Congress is a testament to that
